Koffka/Phakos Design was founded in 2002 and provides full architectural and interior design services, with a focus on custom homes that reflect Southern California’s rich architectural history. We honor and often restore historic structures but also draw inspiration from the region’s diverse styles to create timeless new designs that bridge past and present.

Our goal is to create functional, beautiful, and sustainable spaces that harmonize with their surroundings, whether a private urban retreat or an estate in the hills. By emphasizing natural light and efficient use of space, our designs foster a strong connection between architecture and landscape for year-round enjoyment.
